Expanding all the time!

I have added so many new mixes lately. I now offer over 120 varieties. I now have Cookies, Brownies, Soup, Dip, Muffins, Pancakes & Dog Biscuit mixes. So much going on in such a short amount of time. Never thought that this idea would really take off online. Been selling these at shows for a while but never thought you could sell these online. Wow has it taken off though. So much to learn and process. Twitter, blogging, promoting and listing new stuff. Can't wait to get a new camera. The pictures have so much to be desired. Now to work on the switch over from promoting these mixes as holiday gifts to everyday purchases. Tomorrow I have the main showcase. Haven't gotten to much business from the category showcases but hoping main will bring more sales. Struggling with choosing a date to stop all shipments for Christmas buyers. Sorry this is such random thoughts but it is just what has been on my mind about this whole mixes business. Gonna try to blog regularly also.

added dip to my line of mixes today.

I finally got around to adding dip mixes to my etsy shop today. I have been working on the recipes forever and just haven't gotten around to putting them on there till today. I also got alot of new pictures listed today thanks to my hubbys help with that one. I also started listing my mixes in plastic jars today. This will hopefully boost sales since the weight will be down and I can ship them cheaper. Well gotta go work on recipes. I plan on keeping up on this blog more after the holiday rush is over. Still not used to this blogging stuff.

Hmmm, is it real or just a media hyped up thing? Is it just the economy this year or does this day really exist? Have had 2 sales today so it is very hard to tell. Day is not over yet so don't know.

Wondering if Etsy showcases are really worth it?

So I have purchased quite a few spots in various showcases lately. I am just wondering if it is really worth the money. I haven't noticed any difference. I am getting a lot of views but not many purchases. Not sure if people actually pay attention to the showcases.

Mad rush for the holidays

I am in a mad rush to get my pictures all redone on all my listings on etsy. My pictures now are all pixelated. I am trying to work all the kinks out. Lighting is really hard in the pacific northwest this time of year. I am hoping to have all the new pics listed tomorrow. The jars are all assembled and we are going to finish photographing tomorrow and then swap out the pixelated ones.
